West Mercer Art Docent Training!
Tuesday, September 30th
9:30am, WM Library
It’s time to kick off the 2025–2026 Art Docent Program — an incredible, hands-on art enrichment experience made possible by parent volunteers like you!
What is the Art Docent Program?
Students explore artistic techniques, media (clay, pencil, paint, paper, etc.), and the work of world-renowned artists — all while learning about the elements of art like line, color, shape, and value. It’s creative, interactive, and fun!
We aim to have at least 2 Art Docents per class, and each class will complete 3 art projects during the school year.
New to the program? No problem!
Join us for a quick and friendly training session on Tuesday, 9/30 from 9:30–10:30 am in the West Mercer Library. Our experienced docents will be on hand to share tips, ideas, and answer questions.
Can’t attend the training?
